If you're in a close-range dogfight, you don't want a weapon with long delay (like a rail), you want something that delivers its might in an instant. If you're sniping, than delay doesn't matter, instead accuracy, range, and damage matter. So don't use a machine gun. Be smart. Your 5th grade teacher WAS right, knowledge IS power!
